Esfera Chess – Support

Thank you for playing Esfera Chess by Squz!

How do the pieces move?

Esfera Chess is played on a geodesic sphere with 132 cells instead of a flat 8x8 board. Pieces follow the same basic rules as standard chess (kings, queens, rooks, bishops, knights, pawns) but adapted for the curved surface. The in-app Tutorial walks you through all piece types in 10 interactive steps — select it from the Learn menu.

How do I play against the AI?

Tap Play on the main menu, then choose VS Computer. Pick your color and the game begins. The AI adapts to provide a challenge at any skill level.

How does two-player work?

Tap Play, then Two Player. Pass the device to your opponent after each move. Both players share the same screen — rotate the sphere to view from either side.

How do I control the camera?

How do I see where a piece can move?

Tap any of your pieces to highlight its legal moves. Tap a highlighted cell to move there, or tap elsewhere to deselect.

Is an internet connection required?

No. Esfera Chess works entirely offline. All gameplay is local — VS Computer and Two Player modes need no network connection.
